A collaboration of Bottin and percussionist Leo di Angilla. Deardrums deploy an arsenal of analog drum machines (mostly played by hand) in what feels like a neo-tribal soundscape, drawing from pre-Hispanic elements and pseudo-African rhythms. Nearly all sounds, including bass and leads, are crafted with tuned analog drum machines and percussion synthesizers.
Deardrums released two 12″ EPs and one vinyl album for 2MR/Captured Tracks, NYC.
